Palabras claves: Ojo de buey, Pudrición, Fungicidas, Incidencia, Neofabraea alba,Fludioxionil , Pink Lady./ABSTRACT : Estharvest decay can cause serious economic losses in apples. Among the most common are gray mold caused by Botrytis cinerea, blue mold caused by Penicillium expansum and lately a new decay known as the bull's-eye caused by the fungus Neofabraea alba. Control methods for the latter, which mainly applied pre-harvest fungicides. Therefore, the aim of this study was to assess the effectiveness of controlling fungicides in postharvest application before entry into the cool storage of the Pink Lady variety. The active ingredients were applied via the traditional system called "drenching" in treatments for 30 seconds; fungicides used were Scholar 230 SC; 200 ml / hl (T3), Starter Pro 230 SC; 100 ml / hl + tecto 500 SC 125 ml / hl (T5), Starter Pro 230 SC; 200 ml / hl (T2) and Starter Pro 230 SC; 100 ml (T4). Then the treated apples were stored in a refrigerated chamber at 0°C for approximately 75 days and 120 days plus 7 days at 22°C. The assessment corresponds to the incidence of “bull´s eye” rot on 80 fruits per repetition of each treatment. The experimental design was a completely randomized design with six repetitions. The experimental unit was composed of a harvest box, which contained 80 units of Pink Lady apples. In total 7 treatments were performed including an absolute control treatment, a wet witness inoculated and uninoculated wet witness. The results showed that in the four evaluation times certain fungicides such as Scholar 230 SC (fludioxonil 230 g / l) at a dose of 200 ml / hl and mixture of Starter Pro SC 230 (Fludioxonil 230 g / l) + tecto 500 SC in doses of 125 ml / hl they were effective in reducing “bull´s eye” rot in cv. apples Pink Lady. However, Starter Pro 230 SC (fludioxonil 230 g / l) at a dose of 100 ml / hl was not effective in reducing rot caused by Neobafraea alba. As far as, Starter Pro 230 SC (fludioxonil 230 g / l) is concerned at a dose of 200 ml / hl, could significantly achieve a reduction “bull`s eyes rot were evaluated after 75 days of storage at 0 ° C, plus seven days on a display and in also in storage at 0°C for 120 days as well as in the same fruit kept for seven days in a cabinet at 22°C. Finally, the disease incidence in the witness reached 43% of infected fruit getting significant differences between the treated fruit and the ones treated with fungicides. Key words: Bull’s eye rot, rotting, Fungicides, Incidence, Neofabraea alba, Fludioxionil, Pink Lady.
