Palabras clave: Riego, Aspersión, Cobertura Total, Presión, Uniformidad./ABSTRACT: An evaluation of the Senninger sprinkler model Mini Wobbler (Nozzle # 8), recently incorporated to the Chilean domestic market, was made on Campus Lircay of Universidad de Talca, geographic coordinates 35 ° 24’ 266’’ South latitude and 71 ° 38 ‘103’’ West longitude, with an elevation of 105 meters above sea level. The aim of this study was to characterize some hydraulic parameters and to value the system’s installation costs for a particular area. The evaluated parameters for 15-20-25-30 psi pressures were: flow-pressure relationship, wet profile, water distribution model, irrigation uniformity for an irrigation system in solid set at spacing of 7x7 m. Finally, as a case study, it was estimated the installing cost for an area of 5000 m2 of a Hydrangea crop. The methodology used was established by Merriam and Keller (1978-1980), complemented with the UNE-68-072-86 and ISO 7749-1 and 2 standards, ASAE standard S 398.1 and S 330.1. For the graphic representation, the software Autodesk 3DS MAX 2012, Surfer 8 and 3D Field was used. For the operating pressures above indicated, the following results were attained: discharges of 383, 449, 500 and 548 Lh-1, respectively, with ranges of wet profiles of 6, 6.4, 6.7 and 7.5 meters. The distribution model, for the same pressures, changed gradually from rectangular to triangular for the last specified pressure. The Uniformity Coefficients obtained were, in all operating pressures, higher than the technically recommended minimum of 84%. The values obtained were: 87.49%, 91.22%, 92.14% and 92.5%, respectively. The Distribution Uniformity values obtained were 79.64%, 88.45%, 92.04% and 93.04%. With respect to the total investment cost for the installation of a sprinkler irrigation system of 5000 m2 in solid set using MiniWobbler sprinklers at 7x7 m, this amounts to a net value of $ 1.466.615 (USD 3,043). The participation percentages of its components were: Pumping system, 17%; hydraulic net, 40%; sprinklers, 7%; solenoid valves, 16%; panel and electrical power supply, 15%; programmer, 4% and various, 1%. Key Words: Irrigation, Sprinkle, Solid Set, Pressure, Uniformity.
