Analisis de la incorporacion del acuerdo de produccion limpia del sector vitivinicola en bodegas de la Region del Maule

Abstract

El sector vitivinícola en Chile tuvo un fuerte repunte durante los ´90, gracias a gestiones públicas y privadas, lo que le permitió al país posicionarse en el mercado mundial de los vinos, por su alta calidad y condiciones climáticas óptimas para el desarrollo de la actividad. Esta reputación se puede ampliar con una estrategia que incorpore nuevas tecnologías para mejorar la competitividad y mejorar la relación con el medio ambiente. Una de estas estrategias es la implementación de Acuerdos de Producción Limpia, que permiten mejorar las condiciones productivas, ambientales, de higiene, seguridad laboral y eficiencia energética, a través del cumplimiento de metas y acciones entre el sector publico y privado. Esta memoria tiene como objetivo analizar el grado de incorporación del Acuerdo de Producción Limpia en el sector vitivinícola de la Región del Maule, para así establecer los posibles beneficios en las empresas de la incorporación del acuerdo y las posibles dificultades que presentan las empresas a la hora de incorporar dicho acuerdo. Obteniéndose como resultado, que las bodegas de la Región del Maule percibieron positivamente los beneficios de la implementación del acuerdo, y que su mayor dificultad en la incorporación del acuerdo fue el manejo de residuos sólidos. La mayor parte de esas empresas que adoptaron el acuerdo fueron pequeñas y medianas empresas./ Abstract: The wine sector in Chile had a strong rebound during the '90s, through public and private efforts, which enabled the country to position itself in the wine market worldwide for the high quality of the product and the optimal climatic conditions for the development of the activity. This reputation can be improved if the sector adopts strategies that incorporate new technologies to increase its competitiveness and improve its relationship with the environment. One of this strategies can be the implementation of Clean Production Agreement, which help improve production conditions, environmental, health, job security and energy efficiency through a public-private agreements and goals. This report aims to analyze the degree of adoption of Clean Production Agreement in the wine sector in the Region Maule, and to establish the potential benefits and difficulties posed by the implementation of the agreement. Result show that the Maule Region wine sector a positive perception of the benefits of implementing the agreement and that the most difficult aspect of the agreement was the management of solid waste. Most of the enterprises implementing the agreement were small and medium enterprises.
